Cinderella watched with wide eyes as her reflection started to move on its own. When Cinderella pressed a hand to her chest, the reflection didn’t. And then…it wasn’t a reflection anymore. The girl shivered, looking into the mirror and seeing nothing, no reflection of herself or the…other Cinderella. Just an empty room.

“What are you doing? You can’t just take my reflection!” she exclaimed.

The other girl looked at her, a soft smile on her face. She looked as calm and optimistic as Cinderella herself had when she’d left the infirmary earlier.

“You can’t do this, it won’t work!”

You’re right, it won’t. See, if Mirror Cindy’s out here, then, somebody’s gotta take her place in there.

(Facilier grins evilly.)

Now where we gonna find someone ta do that?

(A shadow demon grabs Cinderella’s arm and pulls it up.)

Ah, we have a volunteer!

“No!” Cinderella shot to her feet, scrambling backwards before her arm was grabbed by…nothing? She caught sight of one of the shadow creatures, holding onto her own shadow! “No, you can’t!” She pulled back, leaning so far back that she’;d surely fall if she was released. but she wasn’t. She was simply yanked forward enough to lose her balance and shoved through the glass with a shriek.

It was the strangest feeling…like thick, ice cold water. Then it was gone. Cinderella was in her own room, just…it’s exact opposite? She spun, seeing Faciliar and her reflection standing there as if this was perfectly normal.

“No! Facilier, let me out!” she yelled, pounding on the glass.

Sorry, hun! But don’t worry, you’ll be safe. Nobody’ll ever bother you again. In the meantime, Mirror Cindy here’s got work to do. Don’t ya darlin’?
